In a rehabilitation measure, existing health impairments are treated in order to prevent them from worsening or even threatening disability or the need for care. The aim is to achieve a reduction in symptoms and a physical, behavioural change through holistic treatment. This should promote a sustainable healthy lifestyle.

Outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation

The rehabilitation can be carried out on an outpatient or inpatient basis. Outpatient rehabilitation is equivalent to inpatient rehabilitation measures in terms of its range of services.

We can assume the costs if the rehabilitation is applied for in advance and the outpatient treatment possibilities at the place of residence have been exhausted or are not sufficient. A further condition is that no other rehabilitation provider is primarily responsible for providing the services and that the measure is carried out in an institution with which we have concluded a care contract. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to check the medical necessity of the measure at a later date. Our application forms are available from the doctors in their surgeries.

Outpatient rehabilitation measures are aimed at patients who have the necessary mobility to take advantage of this form of rehabilitation. The measures take place in approved rehabilitation facilities near the patient's home. They continue to live at home and generally visit the rehabilitation facility for treatment for three weeks, Monday to Friday.

Inpatient rehabilitation measures are aimed at patients who require constant medical care and removal from their social environment and/or for whom home care is not guaranteed during the measure. For the duration of inpatient rehabilitation, accommodation and meals are therefore provided in a suitable rehabilitation clinic. Inpatient rehabilitation measures usually last three weeks. If you receive a permit from us, you should start the rehabilitation for medical reasons as soon as possible, but at the latest within six months.
